| When we made the decision to manufacture
our own stainless steel exhaust systems for Volkswagens, our goal was to
build the best exhaust available anywhere. |

Our SportTuned T304 Stainless Exhausts
meet that goal. There are other stainless exhausts on the market, and
while it seems new ones are popping up all over, we think you'll find
that the Kamille Automobiles Systems are a cut above the rest. Here's
some of the reasons why: |
HD 16 Gauge Aircraft
Quality T304 Stainless Tubing
T304 Stainless is a high Chromium content alloy with corrosion
resistance about 3 times greater than lower grade 400 series alloy.
Interestingly, 400 series "stainless" (typically 409) has enough iron
content to promote rust. Rusty Stainless? Go figure. That's why we use
only T304 tubing. It's more costly, but worth every penny. For the
others who also use T304, it's typically only 18 gauge (.049" wall). We
use heavier 16 gauge (.065") for an extra measure of durability in the
bends and at weld points. |

CNC Mandrel Bent
Throughout for Maximum Airflow
A mandrel bend maintains uniform tube diameter through a bend, ensuring
maximum inside tube diameter through the entire system. |

All Stainless
Mufflers with Polished T304 Shells
A2 & A3 Chassis:
DYNOMAX® UltraFlo® Rear mufflers are stainless steel inside and out.
Even the insulation around the stainless inner perforated tube is
stainless steel wool.
A4 Chassis:
Our newest SportTuned Exhausts feature our own rear muffler
design, constructed entirely of stainless material. The muffler size is
optimized for fitment in the new generation chassis. |

All T304 Stainless
Resonators
Our own resonators are constructed entirely of 16 gauge T304 material
too. The end caps are TIG welded to the outer shell and perforated core.
A special two-piece inner core is used to allow heat expansion during
use, preventing fatigue at the welds. |

Heliarc (TIG) welded
Kamille Automobiles uses only heliarc welds on its stainless systems.
Heliarc welding is more costly, but much higher in strength, and when
done correctly, a much higher quality weld than the typical wire-feed
welding process (usually MIG) used in volume manufacturing. Many of our
competitors use wire-feed welds on their systems, resulting in less than
appealing welds with less than ideal strength. |

Polished T304 Tip
with Laser-Etched AST Logo
A beautiful piece in itself. Our A2 and A3 systems use a 3.5-inch OD,
dual walled, 16 gauge T304 tip. Our A4 systems use a turned-down style,
3-inch OD T304 tip. Each tip is polished to a mirrorlike finish. Our
company logo is then engraved by a laser. |

OEM Type Shell
Clamps and Rubber Hangers
We use only factory style shell clamps from the OE supplier to VW.
Unlike our competitors' saddle clamps (a.k.a. U-bolt clamps) that pinch
and deform the tubing, shell clamps put uniform pressure at the joint to
ensure a perfect seal with minimum tube damage. |
